San Francisco garage-psych band Bear Call are coming to Medford, OR on tour supporting their new album "Fancy Acid". My band Emotion Hole and our friends in the local fuzz rock band Hello Mayfield will be opening the show. This is Groove Patrol's first show booked in Southern Oregon. ELIZABETH COLOUR WHEEL RESEMBLES SO MANY THINGS YET HAS CREATIVELY MASTERED THEIR OWN STYLE OF SONGWRITING. I'M STILL CONFUSED BY HOW THEY DID THIS.

SHOEGAZE, SLUDGE, GOTHIC, DOOM, PUNK, EXPERIMENTAL ROCK. Very beautiful, dark atmospheric jams. Everything blends together precisely how it should. Wasn't sure what to expect when I first started listening, but I'm glad that this is what I found.

Ty Segalls's new album First Taste was released on August 2nd, 2019 with Drag City Inc. Everything that Ty releases is always fantastic. This album is a very unique change for him, but he still makes sure to define his own style to ensure his trademark. Very groovy album with a lot of horns, synths, and odd stringed instruments. First Taste also features some sick drum solos and a chilling A capella performance. Check it out!!!

METZ - Automat (2019)

Toronto (ON, Canada) based noise punk band has released their 4th album Automat on July 12, 2019 through Sub Pop Records. EMOTIONALLY DISTURBED, ABRASIVE, FUZZY CHAOS.

METZ was originally founded in 2008 in Ottawa (ON, Canada). 4 years later in 2012 they were signed to Sub Pop Records, the same year they released their first LP (S/T). In 2015 they released their 2nd LP II. The 3rd LP Strange Peace released in 2017 was recorded by legendary Steve Albini (Big Black, Shellac). Over 10 years of music now this band has released their 4th LP Automat this year sanctifying them with 4 solid albums, which is more than I can say about most bands. Truly a great band. I'm always excited to hear new music from these dudes, hopefully they go another 10 years.

DEVO FOR TWINKS!

Debut album by Melbourne band U-Bahn. JUST LISTEN TO THIS!!! This type of music is a hit or miss. You'll either love it or hate it. This in fact is right up Gub boys alley though. I really fucking love this shit haha I actually discovered this band through Henry Rollins radio show.

Groovey New Wave that resembles the early masterpieces of the ulmighty DEVO!!! There's also some very original songs on here with synth pop vibes. The lyrics speak for themselves. It's 80's new wave music with edgy modern young adult lyricism and catchy melodies. You dig?

Versing - 10000 (2019)

4-Piece Seattle based alt. rock band Versing released their 2nd full length LP May 3, 2019 on Hardly Art Records. This album blends a brilliant contrast of subtle reverb and mellow melodies. This really harnesses vibes of Sonic Youth's less noisey tracks in a a very crafty way. The more I listen to these songs the better they get. You'll find yourself humming along on the 2nd listen. Definitely gonna be jamming this album for a long time.
